Peru - July, 2007

I visited Peru in July, 2007 for 3 weeks. While there I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, visited the Virgin Del Carmin Festival, traveled into the Amazon Jungle and enjoyed the city of Cusco. This trip was amazing! Peru is full of amazing people and breathtaking scenery.

Peru Itinerary July 6th - Fly out Friday: Seattle to LA to Lima, Peru
July7th - Lima to Cusco. Bus to Sacred Valley of the Incas
    (ele. 8,000ft)
July 8-9th - Urubamba Valley
July 10th - Q'Ente
    (ele 8,365ft) 4 hours hiking
July 11th - Llulluchapampa
    (ele 12,465) 7 hours hiking
July 12th - Phuyupatamarca
    (max ele. 13,776ft, camp 11,972) 8-9 hours hiking
July 13th - Wiñay Wayna & Machu Picchu
     7 hours hiking, hiking down 2,300 steps
July 14th - Machu Picchu
July 15th - Cusco
July 16th - Cusco (Virgin Del Carmin festival)
July 17th - Manu Cloud forrest (11 hours driving)
July 18th - Amazonia lodge
July 19th - Manu Wildlife center (8hour boat ride)
July 20th - Manu WIldlife center
July 21st - Boat and bus out of jungle
July 22nd - Cusco
July 23rd - Lima
July 24th - Arrive back in Seattle
