With the shift in technology that allowed DSLR cameras to shoot full HD video, it has been a natural progression to shift into creating and editing film/video. I currently shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II camera. I edit using Final Cut Pro and do my motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. I really have enjoyed working at capturing beautiful moving images.

Keith Bolling, Vice President of Session 7 Media just returned from Ethiopia where he was shooting footage for the Documentary titled “Wrongfully Detained”. The documentary film will reveal the full depth and breadth of the tragic crisis in international adoption. The movie, scheduled for release in summer 2011, will serve as a catalyst in educating the world about the international adoption crisis … and cast a ray of light onto what must be done to resolve it.

The Session 7 Media team just finished shooting a short film titled "Connect To" this weekend which will promptly go into post and premiere February 2011. The film features the talented Lisa LeVan and Wonder Russell, directed by Sam Nuttmann, Keith Bolling directing photography, co-produced by Wonder Russell and Paul Vitulli. The story follows Laurie as she works through the drama of failed marriage, the breaking of everyday patterns, and the joy of finding new perspective in the strangest of places with the strangest of people. The film will be submitted throughout the film festival circuit and will eventually find its way to our very own website. Thanks to all the wonderful cast and crew that made this magical production possible!

I just finished up the Renton Filmfrenzy 50 hour film competion. The challenge was to write, shoot and edit a film in 50 hours. I had a great crew and I am really proud of my film, Out Of Darkness. The film was the winner of the Special Judges’ Award, presented by Jim Dever of KING 5 TV.
